and professional legal support.
Note, there may be charges for some services.
In the first instance, the Service will give preference to consumers residing in the catchment area of Macquarie Legal Centre. - Services means tested and area tested.

NSW Tenants' Advice and Advocacy Services
- Independent services based in community organisations throughout the State. They are funded by the NSW Government and provide information, advice and advocacy for tenants about their rights.
- Provide help with Residential Tenancy Tribunal hearings, disputes with landlords, problems with real estate agents and problems with the Department of Housing.
- Negotiate on behalf of a tenant, provide telephone advice, information sessions on tenants' rights specifically for people with a disability and for tenants from non English speaking backgrounds. There are also specialist services such as a caravan and mobile home resourcing service, an Aboriginal resource worker and a resourcing body located at the Tenants' Union of NSW.
