Find legal AnswersFind Legal Answers is a legal information service for the New South Wales community available in NSW public libraries and online. The Find Legal Answers service is managed by the Legal Information Access Centre (LIAC), State library of New South Wales.
Find Legal Answers web guideThe Find Legal Answers web guide provides access to current information about the law in NSW. The Guide lists useful resources, organised by topic, that are available on the web and in print. Resources are selected and regularly reviewed by specialist librarians at LIAC, State Library of NSW.
To assist your access, all resources are grouped in categories, starting with introductory or simple summaries of the topic followed by more detailed resources.
All resources are freely available on the web, in public libraries across NSW or in the State Library of NSW.
The Free Advice Guide is an online directory of community legal centres and legal agencies in NSW which provide free legal advice and assistance. The directory is compiled and updated annually by LIAC staff.
Find Legal Answers tool kitThe Find Legal Answers tool kit is a collection of up to 20 plain language books to answer everyday questions about the law.
The tool kit is updated twice a year. Titles are selected by specialist law librarians as being the most useful and relevant practical guides to the law in NSW.
The Find Legal Answers tool kit is available in all NSW public libraries.
